Aims and scope

The Journal of Regional Economics (JRE) provides a focal point for the publication of research in the rapidly expanding field of regional economics. JRE welcomes theoretical and empirical papers that bring to bear careful analytical technique on important questions related to regional issues. The Journal encourages ground-breaking research in theoretical and applied regional economics, especially the analysis of innovation regional theory and hot regional issues.

 

Benefits to authors

  • The journal is a Gold Open Access journal, online readers don't have to pay any fee. All Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived until the end of 2024.
  • To receive more high-quality and novel manuscripts, we decide to pay for each paper published in JRE. For each accepted paper in JRE, the author will receive a remuneration of 200 dollars, which will be paid by Anser Press.  
  • Currently, we have a professional journal team managing the JRE, including manuscript submissions and citations. The journal staff will promote your article to the scholars worldwide. The editorial office is very confident that JRE will be indexed by SCI/SSCI in the next three to five years.
  • It is the first step of the JRE Contribution Reward Program. We will set up the Best Paper and the Best Reviewer Award later.
